IBADAN – Kolapo Kola-Daisi, an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Oyo South Senatorial seat, has formally notified the party’s state leadership of his intention to contest the upcoming election.
During a visit to the APC Secretariat at Oke Ado on Monday ,Kola-Daisi pledged to provide “improved representation” and inclusive development across the Ibarapa, Ibadan, and Ido zones. He emphasized his readiness to leverage youthful energy and wealth-creation capacity to advance the district’s interests at the national level.
The aspirant attributed his confidence to “grace from the presidency,” noting he received encouragement to move forward with his bid.
He also appealed for continued backing from party members, citing their previous support as a foundation for his success.
Oyo APC Chairman, Moses Alake Adeyemo, alongside senatorial and youth leaders, commended Kola-Daisi’s capacity and brilliance.
State Woman Leader, Dr. Adekemi Opatunde, further praised his dedication to the party, as stakeholders expressed support for his aspiration and commitment to internal democracy.
