As residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) head to the polls for the Area Council elections, political and media observers have expressed concern over what they describe as voter fatigue, following a low turnout of the electorate at polling units.
Reporting from the field, Sandra Michael noted that the number of voters spotted at several polling points was quite discouraging.
She further disclosed that the process at some units started behind schedule; for instance, voting was observed to have commenced only at 9:00 am at Polling Unit 004, Ungwan Gina Health Centre in Karu.
