Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has traded birthday cake for bricks and mortar, officially opening a fully furnished secondary school in the Temidire Community.
The facility was handed over today at a special birthday event held at the Temidire community. Ibarapa East Local Government Area.
The project was commissioned by the state government, represented by the state commissioner for education, Olusegun Olayiwola
The project according to the celebrant addresses a critical gap in the local infrastructure, saving students from the safety risks and financial burdens of long-distance travel to neighboring towns
The speaker while appreciating God for the opportunity to impact the impact in such a way.
He disclosed that the event was not just about commissioning a structure, but about fulfilling his electioneering promises, restoring hope, and securing the future of children from the area and Oyo state as a whole.
The newly constructed facility comprises two blocks of three standard and well-ventilated classrooms
The speaker added that another education project of such magnitude at Ojonamo, at Lanlate is nearing completion, same as the community town hall at Maya.
While reassuring the community of his continuous delivery of dividends of democracy, he charges all stakeholders to take ownership of the infrastructure for the use of all residents.
