Trading activities on the floor of the Nigetian exchange at the close of business yesterday, February 17, ended on a bearish note, with a decline of 0.48%.
At the close of trading today, a total of 1.19 billion units of shares, with a market value of over N 60.19 billion, were traded across the board in 86,607 deals.
The All-Share Index for today’s trading totaled 189,362.94 basis points, with market capitalization hitting over N 121,55 trillion Naira.
Major business activities were led by ACCESSCORP, trading over 103.48 million units valued at 2.7 billion Naira; ZENITHBANK, pulling 93.09 million units worth 8 billion Naira; JAPAULGOLD, pulling 73.78 million valued at 223.57 million Naira; FIRSTHOLDCO, pulling 56.32 million units valued at 2.64 billion Naira; and NSLTECH, 45.92 million units valued at 83.29 million Naira.
Business closed with 57 gainers and 27 losers.
FGSUK2032S7 led the gainer chat with an increase of 14% to close at 114 Naira; ABC Transport with 9.94% to close at 9.07 Naira; ZlCHIS with 9.93% to close at 13.06 Naira; Redstarex at 9.87% to close at 29.50 Naira; and Meyer with 9.81% to close at 22.95 Naira.
