The Managing Director/CEO of the Bank of Agriculture Ayo Sotinrin has hinted of President Bola Tinubu’s readiness to provide tractors through a 40 percent subsidized rates for 90 percent of farmers across the country.
The MD stated this on Tuesday while briefing members of the Parliament during plenary.
According to him, the scheme is targeted towards encouraging farmers which would in turn enhance their food production through mechanized Farming.
He further urged the Lawmakers, to inform willing Farmers in their various constituencies about the Presidential initiative, adding that the criteria and modalities for qualifications would be made public in due course.
