Market Greenlight: Nigerian Exchange Starts Week Strong with ₦111 Trillion Milestone

The Nigerian Stock Exchange maintained a bullish outlook on the first day of trading this week, with a 1.01% gain.

At the close of trading today, a total of 775,177.168 units of shares, with a market value of N 27, 915,676,659.85, were traded across the board in 65,960 deals.

The All-Share Index for today’s trading totaled 173,946.22 basis points, with market capitalization hitting over N 111,6 trillion Naira.

FGSUK2031S4 led the bull chat with a profit of N19.79, an increase of 24.39%, to close at N100.93 kobo, followed by FGSUK2033S6, which closed with a gain of N20.00 kobo (20.00%) to close at N120.00 kobo.

Meanwhile, on the bear chat, EUNISELL topped the park with a loss of N14.95 k (9.98%) to close at N134.85, while TRIPPLEG shares dropped N0.65 kobo (8.90%) to close at N6.65 kobo.

However, Accesscorp led the top traders with a volume of over 67.1 million shares valued at over N1.5 billion, and Zenithbank followed with over 46.2 million units valued at over N3.5 billion.

Others on the chart include NSLTECH, TRUTHFULNESS & BENEFIT
