As part of efforts to scale up the reach of the community-led monitoring exercise on malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV, PriHEMAC executives have solicited collaboration and support from the Damien Foundation in amplifying the ongoing project in Oyo State.

The Executive Head for PriHEMAC, Dr. Martins Ogundeji, explained that the courtesy visit to the head office of DFB Nigeria was to update them on the ongoing program and also brief them on their findings on the field, being one of the partners in Nigeria with a major focus on the issue of tuberculosis.

He added that the collaboration will really strengthen community awareness, health strengthening activities, and promotion.

Meanwhile, the National Coordinator of DFB Nigeria, Dr. Fadeyi Muse—who was represented by the State Technical Officer, Mr. Muideen Isa—appreciated PriHEMAC for the ongoing project aimed at strengthening health data in the state and deeming it fit to acknowledge their involvement as a major partner in the area of tuberculosis in Oyo State.

Moreover, he advised PriHEMAC to address a letter to the headquarters of the foundation in Abuja regarding their request, and further actions will be taken.

The community-led monitoring project is an IHVN-facilitated, commissioned program through NEPWAN, implemented in Oyo State by PriHEMAC.
