joint resistance contender for vice-presidential official political decision Margaret Alva on Sunday said she acknowledged with “extraordinary modesty” her selection for the August 6 survey and expressed gratitude toward heads of different gatherings for resting confidence in her.
The previous Rajasthan lead representative is set in opposition to National Democratic Alliance (NDA) up-and-comer and West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar.
“It is a priceless privilege to be selected as the competitor of the joint resistance for the post of Vice President of India. I acknowledge this assignment with extraordinary lowliness and thank the heads of the resistance for the confidence they’ve placed in me. Jai Hind,” Alva tweeted not long after the resistance groups reported her name.
The heads of different resistance groups had met at the home of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar to settle on the normal possibility for the VP’s political decision.
